Hi, everyone! Today’s Thursday, which means it’s my last day in the office for the week. Having Fridays off every week spoils me, but I get so much done on those days that I don’t know what I’d do without them! Tomorrow, I’m for sure planning on spending some time diving into the newest Illustrated Faith devotional kit. The design this month and content is BEAUTIFUL.
I’ve been using the Illustrated Faith devotional kits for several months now – since they first released them! They’ve gone through a few changes over the months, but each time it’s only gotten better, in my opinion. This month, the team debuted a few changes so I thought it would be fun to get out my camera and shoot a little first impression unboxing video of the kit!
If you don’t want to watch the whole video, here’s what’s new:
- Smaller pouch size
- Paper pieces (already cut out for you!)
- Smaller stamp set
- Shaped tip-ins
- No alpha stickers
- Devotional is no longer traveler’s notebook style
Overall, I’m loving the new compact size. I’m not upset that the stamp set is smaller or that there aren’t alpha stickers. I usually end up with a million of each of those in my stash anyway, so I have plenty to choose from! The paper pieces are probably my favorite addition. I love that it makes it easy to create collages without having to worry about drawing or tracing or cutting things out.
The biggest thing that I’m loving is the new compact price tag too! The new kits are only $20 each. Since there is usually a promotion going on at all times on the DaySpring website, this will definitely help out those on a budget who still want to get some fun supplies to illustrate their faith with.
