Hey, guys! Back again for another set of monthly goals. As usual, I’ll be using my PowerSheets workbook. The 2018 sets are not available YET, but will be soon. You can follow the Cultivate What Matters shop on Instagram to get updates on when they’ll be available. Before I get into my goals for this month, let’s count the fruit from July first.

  • We’ve had so much rain lately! You guys, I’m such a fangirl of rain and thunderstorms. I love sitting out on our screened in front porch when it’s raining with my string lights on and a good book in my hands. Not much is better than that!
  • I was unbelievably spoiled on my birthday! I turned 24 on July 20 and had such a great weekend celebrating. Tyler and I went out to dinner and did some shopping and then spent most of the weekend working on the nursery. We have a crib now (no mattress, but still!) and the room is painted. Tyler is working on some wood paneling for a little section of a wall, making some shelves for books, and changing out the light fixture and outlets. It’s so exciting!
  • I’ve been spending a lot of time reading! Reading is one of my absolute favorite pastimes, so having some time to do it more than usual has been such a joy. You can see all my book review posts HERE or you can follow me on Goodreads!

  1. Meet with my mom and mother-in-law about my baby shower. We have a date on the calendar, but we need to go over details and food and all that fun stuff. I can’t wait!
  2. Send baby shower invites. This probably won’t fall on me, but I will have to make a list of people invited for whoever’s job it is to do the invites.
  3. Sign up for childbirth class. Our hospital offers one for free, so Tyler and I are going to go in October.
  4. Celebrate Allie + Alec’s wedding! My little sister is getting married on August 26. I can’t believe it’s coming up so quickly. It’ll be here before we know it!
  5. Girls day in Appleton! My mom, older sister, younger sister, and I are going out of town for a girls day full of manis/pedis, food, shopping, and [of course] laughing. Can’t wait!

Keeping it pretty simple for August! That’s going to be a theme of mine for the rest of the year. And the beginning of 2018 once our baby is here! Side note: I do have some new things coming up on the horizon that I’m writing an update post about, so stay tuned for that. Until then… happy goal setting!
